About the event
Come to celebrate the arrival of the new year in an unconventional way – with a meditation retreat. Santikaram Forest Temple offers a unique opportunity to welcome the new year in silence and peace, without unnecessary noise, cannons, fireworks, entertainment, alcohol and drugs. Come to clear your head at the end of the year and set your mind for the new year according to the saying "As on the New Year, so throughout the whole year." The New Year Retreat will be the last retreat at Santikaram Forest Temple before Bhante Santikaro's journey to SE Asia. Tranquillity and insight meditations (samathā and vipassanā bhāvanā) will be practiced. It will be an "easy" retreat focused on individual practice and personal needs (no intensive meditation schedule). It is possible to extend the retreat until January 5.

Members of Santikaram Association Slovakia:

€280 for 9 nights (27/12/2024 – 05/01/2025)
The prices listed are final and include all dietary costs.
Donation (dāna) for the teacher is not included in the retreat fee, is based solely on the voluntariness and generosity of each participant.
