Teamwork is an essential part of life at our forest temple as well. The life of a monk would not be possible without the help of lay supporters.

Only the close cooperation of the monastics and the lay community can create a stable and harmonious society. The mutual help between monks and lay people creates the conditions for a society in which all the members will feel safe and in which all the members will progress spiritually.

In addition, even by sweeping the leaves around the temple, mowing the grass, clearing the snow, or repairing the leaky gutters, we all have the opportunity to make a lot of merits for this life and the future lives...
